After watching the YouTube videos, "Did You Know" and "Pay Attention", it is apparent that technology has played both a positive and negative role in society. For example, while technology can be used to help better connect us throughout the world, it can also be used to detach us from certain situations. I personally believe that the constant use of technology can be harmful to society. The constant use of emailing and texting can create awkwardness when it comes to face-to-face contact. However, from an educational view, emailing can be a huge help. Email, online assignments, and the use of technology in the classroom helps to make the learning environment more comfortable for a variety of different types of learners. While I believe that technology has played a negative role in the social aspect of society, I honestly think that technology has played a very large role in the growth and success of education.
